FAQ About the Best Golf Grips of 2024

How often should you change your golf grips?

Here are the rules we follow for replacing our golf grips.

Every golfer will have different grip-changing requirements based on their frequency of play, regularity of grip cleaning, and other factors like sunscreen use, amount of sweating, etc.

  1. Do you play more than 50 rounds of golf per year?

  2. Do you practice heavily or regularly?

Most specialists recommend replacing your grips seasonally if your answer to any of the above questions was “Yes.”

We’ve found if you regularly clean your grips with soapy water and a hard bristled brush (monthly), you can stretch using a single set of grips for 2 years.

Do any pros use midsize grips?

Plenty of professional golfers use midsize grips (although the majority of the World’s Top 100 golfers use standard-size grips).

Paul Casey, Tony Finau, Gary Woodland, Vijay Singh, Phil Mickelson, Kelly Kraft, and Bryson DeChambeau all use midsize or larger grips to name a few!
